Using the calculator sends us nothing

The entire estimate is computed in your browser. Your answers about features, users, traffic, platform, budget and everything else never leave your device, are not written to a server, and are not stored anywhere. If you close the tab, they are gone — including from us, who never had them.

You can verify this in about ten seconds: open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and work through the whole calculator. You will see no requests leave the page.

What we collect, and only when you ask us to

Two forms on this site submit data: the “Get my detailed app estimate” form that appears after your results, and the form on the contact page. Both are entirely optional, and the estimate is shown in full before either is offered.

When you submit one, we receive:

Your name and email address (required to reply).
Phone number and company, if you provide them.
Your description of the app, budget band and target launch date, if provided.
A summary of the estimate you generated — the cost range, hours, timeline and the configuration behind it. This is included so we can reply about your actual numbers.

What we do with it

It is emailed to our team and used to reply to you about your enquiry. That is the entire purpose. We do not add you to a newsletter, we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

Legal basis and retention

We process it on the basis of your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered by Resend, an email delivery provider, and land in a business mailbox we operate. Resend processes the message in order to deliver it. No other processor is involved.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It uses no local storage, no session storage, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting and no advertising tags. There is no analytics product installed — not Google Analytics, not anything else. See the cookie policy.

The site’s code contains a neutral seam that would allow analytics to be added later. Nothing is loaded through it today, and if that changes this page will be updated before it does.

Third-party requests

There are none. This site loads no external fonts, scripts, images, maps or embeds. Every asset comes from this domain, which means no third party observes your visit.

Server logs

Our host records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent — as part of serving the site and protecting it from abuse. The form endpoint also holds IP addresses briefly in memory to rate-limit submissions. These are ordinary security and operational measures, not analytics, and the data is not used to identify or profile visitors.

Your rights

If you have sent us an enquiry, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents additionally have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you are in the UK or EU, the equivalent GDPR rights apply, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority.

Children

This site is a business tool aimed at company decision-makers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to what we collect will be described here rather than quietly reworded.
